Sea&Tradition Apartment: located in the old town of Monopoli and just a min away from the beach, this stunning apartment is spread across the second and third floor of a typical Apulian white clay building (chianche).

It consists of a living area and an en-suite bedroom with balcony, with a king-size double bed and a single bed. On the upper floor you have the kitchen with a charming terrace overlooking the Cathedral of Monopoli.

The terrace an oasis of tranquility, a place to connect with nature and find inner peace. It is equipped with a hammock, parasol and table with chairs for a sunny breakfast and a relaxing aperitif at sunset.

NOTE: the apartment is not suitable for children or people with reduced mobility.

The luxury of a mini-apartment with a breathtaking terrace, where the sky will enchant you Located on the top floor of Casa La Torre, guests staying there enjoy a spacious bedroom and a breathtaking view of the historic centre.

Decorated with white chianca pavemtens and a solid wood ceiling with exposed beams throughout, the suite is split across two floors (second and third floor of Casa La Torre). The second floor is a double bedroom with a private bathroom, an open wardrobe, a living area and a ‘Juliette’ balcony. In addition, on the upper floor there is a comfortable sofa bed for a third guest if needed, a second bathroom and a kitchen area for simple preparations.

The private terrace overlooks the village of Via Perrini, an ideal place to start the day with a relaxing breakfast or enjoy the return from the sea at sunset among the baroque churches of the historic centre.

Both rooms of the Fico d’India Suite are also equipped with air conditioning and hairdryer, radiator, free wifi, HD TV, tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, Netflix and wardrobe.

What is the history of the Prickly Pear?

A very ancient fruit, probably originating in Mexico, it rests on the blades of a tree that can reach 4-5 metres in height. It is said that the plant arrived in the Old World around 1493, the year Christopher Columbus’ expedition returned to Lisbon. From here it quickly spread throughout the Mediterranean basin where it naturalised to the point of becoming a characteristic element of the Mediterranean landscape.

What is the carob tree?

An evergreen tree and a protected species in Apulia, the carob tree is a typical Mediterranean plant, the fruits of which are mainly used to obtain flour (carob flour) or to be eaten raw.

The ancient Greeks and Romans used carob seeds as a unit of measurement, known as the keration. This unit is still used today to measure the weight of gemstones. That’s in fact where the word carat comes from!
